2022 ICACOS FUNDRAISING RIDE

for the Haven of Hope Children’s Home

Central Spokes is conducting its annual Icacos Fundraising Ride once again, and invites you to attend and put your stamina to the teston an 85-kilometer journey from C3 Centre luxury retail complex through gorgeous southern Trinidad to Lalla Trace, Icacos. The ride willgenerate money for the Haven of Hope Children’s Home in Pluck Road, Woodland, Trinidad & Tobago. The home is for kids who are atrisk of being abused, neglected, or abandoned. Their mission is to enrich the lives of children in a loving, safe and stable environment,and by building, strengthening, and sustaining family life via educational, preventative, and therapeutic services so that our children canhave safe, healthy, and full lives. 

We are known across the country for our all-inclusive, family-friendly rides that ensure everyone has a good time in a tough yetenjoyable and participatory environment.

We’ll start at C3 Centre, Trinidad and Tobago’s newest world-class retail and entertainment destination, so come prepared andenergised. We then follow the road all the way down to Icacos. The famous Pitch Lake, the world’s largest natural asphalt deposit andaffectionately known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” is one of the most notable sights. Then picture yourself riding alongside themagnificent Serpent’s Mouth. Finally, we will unwind in a beach home in Icacos, where we will be served lunch. Take a swim in thewater, relax on the beach, or enjoy the view from the shaded balcony with good company. After that, riders and bikes will have theoption of taking alternative transportation back to the starting location.

So come join us for this wonderful event that will aid in the growth and development of children in a loving environment with a warmatmosphere that caters to their overall development while also promoting a healthy lifestyle and togetherness. We must never forgetour social responsibility to help those in need.

Check-in: 5:45-6:20 AM
Start time: 6:30 AM
End location: Lalla Trace Guest House, Icacos.
Distance: Approx 85 km
Age limit: Open to persons 8 years and up
Return transport from 2PM

Duration: Approx 4 – 6 hours with periodic stops.
