About

The main goal of the Central Spokes Cycle Club is to encourage a passion and appreciation for cycling, while creating a family among all fellow riders. The club began in 1998 simply because of a few friends who enjoyed cycling, and that love is maintained among our members. While we do participate in competitions, our main focus is to foster a passion for cycling, no matter the age or level of experience.

The club also has a history of supporting those in need. In every one of us there is a responsibility to help someone in need, and we combine an appreciation for a healthy lifestyle with social responsibility. As such, our annual Icacos and Coast to Coast rides are geared towards helping raise funds for those with different issues across the country.

We have weekly rides that take place at evenings and night, as well as different events throughout the year. Once there is a love for cycling and a desire to learn, everyone is welcome! Experienced riders are in charge of beginner riders, and all rides are done with proper supervision.

Through cycling, you can have a healthier and more beneficial lifestyle. You develop your balance and climbing skills, and improve your cardiovascular health and endurance skills. Everyone is encouraged to improve their riding skills and of course, build a better life. Cycling also guides you away from the desk and helps you appreciate the beauty of the outdoors, a trait that is even more vital in the world today.

We hope you become motivated to take up cycling as a means to a healthier lifestyle!
